Wait, is that a thing? I thought the AWD and manual were mutually exclusive options.

Agree, BMW has been killing it the past 10 years or so in their standard cars (though sadly the M’s have been going downhill during the same interval)

For many manufacturers, it is most definitely a mutually exclusive arrangement. A select few that get it that there exist manual drivers that also would like the benefits of AWD.

The E90 has a long clutch travel, it’s like half of the total travel before anything happens. That’s been my experience with mine, I haven’t driven a non-M BMW manual in a while though, so I’m not sure if it’s the same.

Both the 340xi and 440xi can be had with a manual to date.

I’ve had two manual 325xi’s, both wagons no less! One is still my current DD.
